Almost any career you go into you need an education. For animals care you need to have your Youth Plus Certification(PQA). For the safty of the animals care and for the caretaker of that animal it is important to keep good records. For example, say you are usually the one to take care of a 250 pound hog. You go on vacation with your family and the hog ends up getting a disease from a anyother animal. The caretaker that is filling in for you needs to know what to do, like where to give the hog a shot, what size of needle, or how much medication to give it. As you can see you need an education in almost every thing even with animals health to become successful.
