Congratulations to this years team: Alex Norris, Nick Brumfield, Sierra Jepsen, Allyson Davis and Madison Darrnell on representing our FFA chapter!
Fruit Sale
The fruit sale is the largest fundraiser our FFA chapter has and it pays for the majority of activities, such as field trips, bus fuel and awards. As you can see this is a very important fundraiser that our chapter depends on. The year the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA chapter sold about 1940 box/baskets of fruit. This is a chapter record and we would like to say thanks to all of you that purchased fruit this year.
State Officer Leadership Night
For the last 10 year the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA chapter has hosted the State Officer Leadership Night. The Leadership Night was held on Wednesday December 1st at 6:00 P.M. There were 11 FFA chapters that attended from our district. From our chapter there were 46 members that attended. The State FFA Officers lead all of the sessions. The theme for Leadership Night was Lead Me, Lead You and Lead Us. There were three sessions that the FFA members participated in each session was about Lead Me, Lead You and Lead Us.
Lead Me was about what kind of a lead we were as an individual. Lead You was about how we had to work as a team and lead others. Lead Us was about leading your team mate because in the activity there were two people the were blind and two people that could not talk. Those people relied on the team leader that could talk to tell them what to do and where to go.
After the three sessions there were cold cut sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks that were provided by the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA chapter. Our chapter would like to thank all of the State Officers that put on this Leadership Night. Now of this would have been possible without them.
